Phoenix and Turtle

Melbourne-based Redbubble has started a new group with images uploaded for sale (this one among them) in t-shirt, card and print form, with profits going to victims of the fires in Australia. They also have direct links to a couple of organizations accepting contributions on their Phoenix Appeal site.

I'm really enjoying your 'flat colour white line' pieces. This Phoenix Turtle and "Listen" and "No" are just lovely. You manage to balance the graphic with the painterly very well... not too hard edged. Great!

I like this illustration. Certainly more optimistic than "sorry, sonny, it's turtles all the way down"! (From some old Bertrand Russell story I read somewhere.)

Is it just me, or does this picture make turtles look fast?

I bet every one of them is going to want to hang a copy of this up on their walls.

I love the colors. This is a wonderful image. It makes me thinks that they two must have a great story to tell.
