Happy Earth Day

Here's a piece I did about 15 years ago, still in use for the Berkeley Earth Day Poster (may be as close as this artist comes to immortality). See where they're celebrating in Northern California? Anyway, turtles all the way down (wikipedia).

In ancient Chinese mythology, earth rests on the back of a turtle, did you cite this this on intentionally?

Wow, I learn something new everyday. I had never heard of the theory "Turtles all the way down." Once again, you've made me feel underexposed. : - )

It's certainly a more positive and realistic image than having a man holding up the world. If that were truly the case, we'd all be finished for sure!

that is most impressive that berkeley is using your poster for 15 years...in the life of posters for such celebrations that is immortality.

it is a fantastic image! is there any way I can get my hands on a copy? I'd love to send one to blogging bud tut-tut as a gift! the turtle is her totem/avatar

just now emerging from my blogging hiatus - still on the road. home late tonight, but have a bit of computer time before lunch and then hitting the airport.

yikes falling behind on all the blogs in the hood is a bit overwhelming....
