Alice in Wonderland/The Mock Turtle

"Once," said the Mock Turtle at last, with a deep sigh, "I was a real Turtle".

These words were followed by a very long silence, broken only by an occasional exclamation of Hjckrrh!" from the Gryphon, and the constant heavy sobbing of the Mock Turtle.

I saw this post on Three Little Cameras, which makes me think about doing more than correction in Photoshop - very inspiring work, a successful combination of digital techniques with a vintage feel - it's very difficult to do this without overwhelming the composition with the magic fingers digital stuff I think.

Say Hello to Groucho the tufted duck. He came closer to see what was happening and quacked indignantly (because treats were not forthcoming?). He is used to a lot of admiration. More about creatures tomorrow and Monday, Alice will resume on Tuesday.

I love the posture of the Gryphon. How he's crossing legs and folding his claws. -- The gryphon is the protector of printers and graphic design!

Alice and the Gryphon
are to be congratulated
for their attentiveness
to Tortoise's tale

Note: I used to work in that tall building
across the lake. The one with the diagonal
corners.

Nice mosaics

Lady P-

I'm just thinking, having visited your blog, you may want to check out the Today's Title blog(in my blogroll) . It's a group contribution thing - might be a good group for you to connect with. Just a thought.

just freakin brilliant! and you have the nerve to sit alice down, give her comfortable posture, give her a engrossed look of intaking dialogue, and i'm sure she's giving some too...

ahhh to catch the sun as you do...to seek a place of 'only' here...to invent this same-new world for Alice is marvelous, just damn marvelous....
