A large rose tree stood near the entrance of the garden; the roses growing on it were white, but there were three gardeners at it, busily painting them red. Alice thought this a very curious thing, and she went nearer to watch them...Here the one who is Moe-like in character is demonstrating technique to the other two. And the moral of that is, when you need roses painted, always call Professional Rose Painters™.

Professional Rose Painters? But of course! Nobody less! Another great scene!
I'm putting in some annuals this week that could use touching up. Must place a call to these lads.
how original and funny
beautiful work of art.
i love your Alice
this was always one of my favourite bits of the story
I'd forgotten that part! You are making me want to re-read it, its a book I never quite 'got' as a child. I nearly took it out from the library last month for my 4 year old but figured she might be a bit young still.....
Very cool!
Cool, was waiting for these soldiers and their army. Boy, this is getting better and better.
Really cute. One of my favorite moments in the book and the movie is the painting of the roses. I mean, how original! I love part in the when they start singing "We're painting the roses red."
I love this whole idea! fabulous work :)
i'm speechless...
Ooooo, I loved this part in the movie, lol. There was something about the panicked urgency involved in this scene that made me smile. Nice work.
