Jin is the son of a fisherman, and Sun seems to have a green thumb, both of which are very helpful to the castaways before the discovery of food inside the hatch and the food drop (see tomorrow's post). Yup, they have secrets from each other. In the basket, two fish and an operatic sea urchin (NOT a space alien*).* Not a duck either. NOT!

First, I hope the operatic sea urchin doesn't take offence but he/she looks like a duck to me. It may be distortion due to the distance, I'm willing to consider that as a possibility.
The video. Hm. Secrets. Hm-hm. All is forgiven. Hm-hm-hm.His baby? Really? Can she be trusted? Can he? Is the baby's name truly Lestor? (that's what word verif says but can it be trusted?)
We await the food drop for greater certainty, and remind both Jin and Sun never to eat green fish. They taste very bad (it said so in A Fish Called Wanda.)
My best to Oakland.
Ah, the fabled operatic sea urchin. It's at the centre of everything, it knows the secrets.
THE operatic sea urchin? Didn't Steve Zissou discover that? :-)
Awesome as always.
I like the juxtaposition in this one! (What is going on in the background?)
Glad there are a few people who are aware of the operatic sea urchin (let's keep the Illuminati connection out of the discussion).
Bee- this was taken at the Live Oak Park Fair in Berkeley.
lol @ mum's comment. I was thinking the same thing. "Hmmm, that sea urchin looks an awfully lot like a duck to me." : - )
The world is full of Sun and Jin's.
Love this piece.
I seem to lose the ability to articulate properly after looking at your art. Fascinating is probably the only suitable thing I can think of to say. I particularly like the image of the girl leaping from the words of the page. I forget what you entitled it.
Dave - thank you. It was Underground Man leaping from the pages. Possibly blobbiness of ink gave him a girlish mien -
soon there is a compilation of lost on tv here..i'll go looking and maybe i'll be hooked...
love you on all aspects(!!!!!)

This is just too, too, awesome!! I so enjoyed this post. You are always so fabulously brilliant!
Perhaps an eerily duckish operatic sea urchin then...
