Well worn: The Haunted Hat

The illustration Friday prompt this week is worn. I spent the end of the day in S.F. yesterday, through the Presidio, determining that as I couldn't see the Golden Gate Bridge I wouldn't shoot that scene there, to the Palace of Fine Arts, then to Coit Tower. This might have been about the distance Vincent Parry walked  in Dark Passage, although I have to admit I hadn't had ninety minutes of plastic surgery with a general anesthetic before starting out.

Love, love, love the hat. I haven't the slightest idea how you managed to make it look so tri-demensional, lol. : - )

That's one intense looking Bogart fellow. The hat is definitely 3D, his gaze, mildly-piercing and that wrinkled brown paper is too cool!

Very cool interpretation for IF. The hat is so intriguing! Love it. I did say I'd start participating again, didn't I? Thanks for the reminder! Coming soon at a blog near you!

Masterpiece! The strong and bold lines. The convincing shadow. And the idea to do it on crushed paper!

The more I look into his mesmerizing eyes, the more sleepy I feel--great cure for insomnia : ) As always, *great* to visit!

I like it that the paper you have drawn on has been crumpled up giving the slept in clothes gin soaked hack feel... Very apt.
