I have a few images, like Alice and the key, that are takeoffs from the original story. In this case, the reference is to the March Hare ruining the works of a watch with the best butter - mostly an excuse to take this photo in the all-but-dry creek bed where I shot the Alice dreaming and one of the Third Man pursuit photos.

and the green object.
nice rabbit .
Loved the Hare inside the clock! The face and hands are perfect, in the "get me out of here" language.
Thanks for your comment. What did I do wrong with the links? Ah, god in the machine...
The hare has human hands and teeth! Weird. Priceless expression, makes me laugh.
great picture! rabbit looks trapped.
Just discovered ArtSpark, Alice, Susan and the Hare trapped in a clockcase in a dry creek bed. Looking forward to much more Theatre.
I can hear it "get me out, get me out!!!"
I think he's saying, "I'm late, I'm late ... for a very important date!"
it´s a wonderful wonderland, your version of the hare is amazing. the weird human-like hands and the clock and the water create a delighting surrealist atmosphere.
what the others said + I love the alternative clock face on the right of the clock: Let's see, it's now quarter to north by northwest, if I don't get out of here by five past east, my goose is cooked, the duchess will throw a fit, the girl will have grown out through the roof...
cheers.
Love your take on the Hare inside the clock! The quality I most admire in your work is the surprise element and that touch of your sense of humor. That brings it all together!!!
Is this his punishment? (very clever image)
fascinating, the can't-get-out
