This face may look familiar to comics aficionados- I was obsessed with George Herriman's Krazy Kat as a teenager. Part of the charm of this strip is the characters, and part is the pen and ink mesas of the southwestern landscape - eccentric, sparse and strangely comforting.

Krazy Kat, Igantz mouse and Officer Pupp were all part of a wonderful universe. Although C&H was the flavor of our times...I like the whimsical charm of this strip!
