Some of us prefer to vent.

New t-shirt on redbubble......several sources for the idea (Thanks, C, for the email). Seems to be another in my series of animals with unusual things coming out their mouths.

TFE suggests an alternate lion in his comment, you can see Parsley on youtube.

All all venting was this creative and pretty i wouldn't mind it at all. You may have a grumpy lion there but I see his venting is not blue and colourful. A well mannered lion :)

I'm a very friendly lion called Parsley.

so elaborate and beautiful, hard to see it as venting.

I can see a boorish English gentleman venting in tweed. or some old guy on his porch venting in rusting tin can and car parts.

I definitively prefer this venting lion to that poor golden new neighbour of yours. Maybe they should be friends. The other lion needs to vent a little, I guess.

Can we be sure it isn´t a lioness...?

Wonderful, that silly expression on his (her?) face.

That's one big rant from a frustrated little lion...or an ENORMOUS rant from a frustrated BIG lion, depending on scale :) I love the way you balance so well the graphic and the narrative. Looking back, "Bears v's Bearskins" is a marriage made in heaven!. PS. thanks for empathizing... you seem so together in your work...? I guess all creative types have hang ups, doesn't everyone in fact :) PPS. Maybe it's the wrong reading matter for me in my current mindset (or maybe the perfect reading matter...) but I think you might like a book called "Sum" by David Eagleman. Look it up if you have the spare time :)

There's some good venting going on in a small video (1min 38sec) at "Charles Christian my Life in 3 cartoons". You can get to it via my blog's A-Z links under 'C' for Christian ... as in being thrown to the lions!
