Summer Window/Deep Sea

Mina and I changed the windows at Arjan just before solstice - more views on TinyTheatre.
.............
If it was only the dark voice of the sea
That rose, or even colored by many waves;
If it was only the outer voice of sky
And cloud, of sunken coral water-walled,
However close, it would have been deep air,
The heaving speech of air, a summer sound
Repeated in a summer without end...

Over the Limit

A window on Piedmont Avenue ready to be loaded with gilded items- nowhere near the mountains despite its name, therefore the only snow we see will be of an interior artificial nature. Note the two hour time limit...some of us wish The Holidays came with such parameters*.

Venice Shop Window

This window makes me think of E.T.A. Hoffman's story about the man who fell in love with a beautiful automaton. Hoffman is known as the German Poe. I frequently reread his story "the Golden Flowerpot" at this time of the year, when the borders between the worlds grow thin.
