This window makes me think of E.T.A. Hoffman's story about the man who fell in love with a beautiful automaton. Hoffman is known as the German Poe. I frequently reread his story "the Golden Flowerpot" at this time of the year, when the borders between the worlds grow thin.

I want to know more about the Golden Flower Pot~
Gorgeous shot! More than shopping, I love taking pictures in shops like this.
Ladrón - I feel exactly the same, I had a friend who didn't like window shopping because she got too envious, but for me it's all visual stimulus.
That window has venice all ocver it.. I saw the tales of hoffman as an opera, and that story was the best, they produced it in a kooky Rocky horror theme, made it quite contemporary and had ball with the piece
