Another banana box book bargain. They're the best!
I like the look
of that little black book
A hunting I must go
to find some Edgar Alan Poe
The rain in Spain falls mainly in Ireland, methinks.
I love garage sales and getting treasures. I can always find something to love and re-use.
I love a good root vegetable when the air turns crispy.
The second pic is really sweet,I love the illustration!!! :D
both. and garage sales too. that penmanship page brings back memories.
I love the sound of your hearth's fire ... excellent garage sale finds ... this weekend I came upon a 'hand shadow theatre' book at a nearby sale. Happy autumn, Susan!
I love the look and feel of those old books. Not quite sure why.
They both look superb, but I want to see more of the penmanship book. I think penmanship is going to become the next hip thing for young people to study since they started out with touch screens and it's like learning an ancient skill.
That is a wonderful little book.
This weather means blankets and hot tea and thick books.
And visits to the pumpkin patch, of course. We carved nine jack-o-lanterns (a record!) this weekend.
That second image is lovely!
rain, rain go to Spain... es una rima maravillosa.
i just love the way you've taken the photo of this book outside :o)
By the moment, we have a clear sky autumn here...
We have the hearth fire. And deep green envy of the Poe book!
