What a wonderful bird the frog are--
When he sit, he stand almost.
When he hop, he fly almost.
He ain't got no sense hardly.
He ain't got no tail hardly either.
When he sit, he sit on what he ain't got--almost.

Where did you dig up that quote? Too cute. Kinda Ogden Nash/Will Rogers dontcha think?
Pretty glib --- almost
And when he sit in the frog pond with all his froggy mates on the backs of their nearest convenient lady frogs the croaked din is something terrible I really have to say but that's not the worst of it, the worst of it is when all those froggy eyes glare at me on the waterline and all that squirmy clumpy jelly is flatting floating all about the banks ...ugh!
And then the French, they eat 'em!
This reminds me of something. British TV recently taught me that there's no such thing as a fish. That different types of fish have more in common with other species than they do with each other. The example they gave was that there's a lot of things that fly, but they're not all birds.
Dubious facts.
Frog ate bird. Revenge on a heron?
It reminds me of an exotic crown
it makes me gag (but then feathers usually do when i eat them)
Both the visual and words boggle my mind yet seem to make perfect sense. I can hear some music going along to this for some reason as well!
exquisite!.... bird - frog when he hop he fly almost. Love it!
I love that poem and it's one of my kid's favourites too!
