Brought to you by the Department of Wishful Thinking

I suppose you could get into some interesting discussions in a bar wearing this...

Edit: it occurs to me that when we are contained, we long for freedom, whereas when we are completely free, we start thinking about the wee little cottage with the light in the window. This is, of course, hardly an original thought, in fact I believe there is a classic song involving a red bandana along these lines.

The enthusiastic glance is wonderful. Getting to the point by simple means, as often in your work.

I love the 'Department of Wishful Thinking' title. There could be a whole series of them, with matching T-shirts.

I can imagine my "poor man" wearing this shirt... with her permission, of course.

Thanks, guys -

Chris, that's a great idea. I've been trying to imagine the "Department of incurable optimisim" t-shirt. Strangely, I'm having trouble...

Have you tried picturing someone applying for an arts grant?

How to have your cake and want it too - one of our human difficulties.

We all want what we can't have- pretty funny really. Or sad.

I can only echo Margaret above; beautifully put. In my mouth, please.

we've been thinking of letting our new little kitty out in the garden on a leash - he's a bit small and we worry about his adventurous spirit and the dog next door...
