Last Travelling Alice

This is the last post I'm doing with the Alices - I'll be putting up a post later today with an illustration challenge. The above Alice was placed by Lettuce at Lettuce-Eating. Michael at Coffee Messiah also took Alice on a visit to an old printing press recently.

For followers of my LOST series, there is a new one starting on Draw, Burt, Draw.

Chris David Richards is hoping for a dialogue about faith in a University setting for an upcoming video project.

Alice and the Taxi

The much esteemed Eva at Creative Diary took this photo of Alice. This is what Eva said:

Alice tried to take a taxi. It is brand new, but she hesitated to step in because the air condition did not seem to be working. So she concluded that poor view might be a serious problem for the driver, and walked.

See Eva's blog for reports on stitching, life in Hamburg and witty observations.

This just in: Michael at Coffee Messiah has a new video, Alice at Stampland

Ubiquitous Alice

Starting furthest from Oakland, here is Alice in Tehran, where she has acquired an extremely dubious looking boyfriend on the Parisa Mahmoudi blog.
Here is Alice in Berlin, where she was taken for a visit to the Charlottenburg Palace, courtesy of her tour guide at Gerdiary.
Finally (for today), here is Alice in Cumbria, while accompanying the estimable Tony at Bench .

I will post later today with some links to a couple of blogs which I find inspirational.

Alice in New Hampshire

Here is an Alice in New Hampshire, placed and photographed by Cole Scott,  husband of California Girl, the proprietor of the Empty Nest Evolution blog, which also links to Theme Thursday's Ghosts theme if you are in the mood for chills.  Alice also continues to tour Cleveland, thanks to mouse of mouse medicine. For large scale non-Alice hijinks, see the completed knitup project in Australia at grrl+dog

First Alice

Here is the first Alice I sent out, photographed  by another Oakland blogger, Laurie at Rule of Thirds. Laurie describes this as "Alice Lost in a Victorian Forest". See this blog for three generations of photographers experimenting with weekly themes.

Note: Alices for this month have been sent out, I will send out ten more next month. If you would like to sign up for that mailing, please email me with your street address (my email is in my profile).

A Visit from Alice?

Here's Alice looking out over the city of Oakland. I was having the thought, at about the same time as Tony was leaving a comment, about sending some of these to people who are interested.

Edit 2/23: Alices are now all spoken for, until next time. I will be posting pictures of them in their new environments from those who send me jpegs.

Palm trees seem like the question marks of the arboreal world to me.

Oh, also - this sunny vista makes me think of Wallace Stevens' The World is Larger in Summer
