A Visit from Alice?

Here's Alice looking out over the city of Oakland. I was having the thought, at about the same time as Tony was leaving a comment, about sending some of these to people who are interested.

Edit 2/23: Alices are now all spoken for, until next time. I will be posting pictures of them in their new environments from those who send me jpegs.

Palm trees seem like the question marks of the arboreal world to me.

Oh, also - this sunny vista makes me think of Wallace Stevens' The World is Larger in Summer

Great idea! I'd like to try it...or have my husband try it with one of his scenic photos.

Alice looks very happy to be in Oakland.

Dear Susan,
That waterfall is man made.
And in the road post, there is no sea,all the road is in kind of desert.that lights are from road lights in the background.

Thanks about your mail.It has arrived one week ago,but I don't have enough time to take picture of it.

I love to have an Alice,I'll put her in one of my travel photos!

seriously Susan, you're gonna hafta change the name of yer blog to ArtFlame Theatre because at this point it's way beyond a spark, i mean you're on fire!

i like your multidisplinary approach & how each field of operation you choose to creatively engage with, you do it with a vigor & enthusiasm which is truly inspiring, living up to the sparking promise of the blogs namesake, but all those airborne embers glowingly floating along
& landing on peoples head to make redhot heat, emanate from a very bright fire, and that fire is you.

i love the way you're interacting with people onna physical basis, many onliners seem to forget this, but you truly engage people & get everything all fired up.

your work is in the world, it's a part of the world, you breathe life into a continuing narrative which is a pleasure to read along with.

it's bigtime goodvibe city & that kind of energy is sometimes difficult to transfer thru an electronic medium, but you heartily succeed in making this place full of warmth!

cheers!

Oakland never looked so good from a vantage point such as this ; )

Ahhh, just like Flat Stanley, but more geared for adults (who are children at heart). Always inspiring to see these. If you have any left, my e-mail address is in my Blogger profile.

This photo of Alice makes me wish that vine was a beanstalk...and that she was climbing it ;)

Am now quite eager to see Alice's further adventures. Understand she'll be in Tim Burton's movie in 2010, at the very least, in somewhat more than .jpg!

I'm actually very envious of those who scored one. I would put her in a canoe.
