Tears of a Legend
Here's the final version of a piece I posted as a work in progress - I ended up cutting out a piece from a Chinese Checkers board and gluing it over her eyes. Just in the city today, taking my work around in the Mission district. One of the stores I visited was Viracocha, whose owner sells interesting salvaged and reconstituted home furnishings to fund small-scale artistic productions, music and poetry, in the downstairs. Very sweet. I had been sent there by one of the proprietors of the Curiosity Shoppe, another wonderful Mission enterprise.

Makes me think of the black bars over people's faces when videos are censored. Interesting.
The dog's bollocks are still there, but YOU Artysparkly are a true legend! Respect.
Oh, stunning now! Whoever she is...
Haven't given up on the mysterious man yet either.
It does remind me of the Glamor magazine "don't" section. Don't wear white shoes past labor day! Thanks for the links

Re: All puppies, all the time--I'd love to see what you'd do with some of those Victorian-era studio portraits that include dogs!
i wonder if you'll ever run into junk thief while wandering about the mission!
sounds like such a wonderful, funky neighborhood.... i do need a wander out in your neck of the woods...who knows, maybe 2011 will bring such a treat!!
