Here is the final, which also fits the Illustration Friday prompt stargazing. If you have something wonderful in your locale, consider joining Jasmine at Nature's Whispers on August 23, where people from all over will be introducing their neighborhoods.
Oooh, this is gorgeous - same prompt, different image on/by vanessa boer.
This is just too cool, on Thought Cloud Factory News...

What a beautiful composition. Such vibrant colours. We had amny clouds last night so I did not see any shooting stars from the meteor shower. I did however see some wonderful twinklers from between the gaps. Maybe I will see some remnants tonight.
Thank you for the mention.
I love this.
Wow, love what you did with this Susan. It certainly takes on a Surreal quality. Love it!
This is wonderful.
I like to see you stitchin´...
stargazing is most definitely radiant.
Thanks for the links!
Ah, now I understand when you said that was not yet finished.Very good!
Very imaginative work, I love the movement added by the stitching--what a lovely effect.
hello!
it looks as though her eyes might be shooting out all those rays of light
I wish nature could be mended with a few stitches.
Eva- Tell me about it. A friend just informed me about the plastic gyres in the ocean as we were eating a tasty lunch. Usually I feel good after eating a meal, this time not so much.
I like it! And somehow the canoe doesn't look so much like a canoe anymore. There's a bit of Moses' shooting rays of light from his head in this too, for me. Especially as she's adrift.
I like Jasmine's idea. Coming up soon though, and we are in meltdown production for the Flower Show.
Fantastic! Love it and it makes me smile - Celeste has the perfect word ~ radiant!!!
WOW! i've been missing it all...
