Clandestine

I know that some good things happened this year, but I'm still reeling. Is anyone with me here?

This is hilarious. I love the cat with his straight legs. Very funny! I agree, I am kind of looking forward to the year to come and keeping my fingers crossed ...

I love the cat and his name! it's a great drawing. she has nice body language

2008 was a good year for me

except for the economy and the constant campaigning-- it was okay --but the campaigning had to be done. It was exhausting though.

Cheers!

Susan, I like this and all the four last works. This character and the house made it one of my favorites. The body and the face is terrific.

Great illustration, stepping off to 2009. Thanks for the comments you left. I looked up Gerald Scarfe and did know/love the work, the name threw me at first. Happy New Year!

Nice! 2008 is a year one wants to just sneak away from in many ways - but without the bad how could we ever enjoy the good as much.

This is very clever. I love that she is sneaking off the page.

"wheels came off"

fersure fersure,
but now we finally
have new wheels
here in the States,

what State are we in ?

for so long we've been
inna sorry State,
but thangs are looking
on the up & up
& idealism rides
the American mind
like wildhorses
across glowing range,

yes WE can!

much love
& joy
to all!

we, as a nation,
will regain liberty
& find all of our
commons beyond any
simple economic scale,
the age of absolute value judgements
is over & dreams will live if we give them the breath.

breathe everybody, breathe!
