"Inspired by nature"... ambiguous in a good way (nature as in "the outdoors"? human nature? the universe and everything it contains?). Here in Japan, sadly, it has the ring of a slogan you might read on the spare tire cover on an SUV as you're sitting in traffic (it may sound strange, but SUVs are marketed here as a way to "return to nature" even when one is stuck in traffic). "Inspired by nature" does have the benefit, though, of at least being correct English (unlike the SUV spare tire covers). To avoid being ambiguous myself, I'm contrasting, not comparing...
When I was a child we used to play a game where one person would draw a squiggle and the next person would have to make a drawing out of it. This is sort of a variaton on the theme.
this is really something! A single leaf can certainly inspire .
anyone I know that loves a nature walk has pebbles, twigs, maybe some shells or driftwood they have found decorating windowsills or tables in their homes. a person who is unable to ignore fallen leaves during a walk and just has to pick them up to examine them and appreciate them. I took a long walk this morning and found a zillion interesting things just lying about. ...lately I've been reading John Burroughs...
