Alice at Magellan's Window

Nemo Hill of the elsewhere blog sent me a number of wonderful images of Alice in Bangkok and Bali, also this one of Alice at Magellan's Window. I don't know what or where Magellan's window is...Nemo would have to explain.

Impressive photo! I wonder how did Alice feel there. And the link is great.

Great photo - this is becoming a little like the gnome in Amelie Poulain!

Magellan's window is a traveler's glass cathedral ceiling. How's that for explaining and not explaining at the same time--?

That is a really cool, really scary looking window.i'd rather be on the outside looking in.In fact I'd rather be on a far away beach drinking, reading a book ,then snoozng drunkenly in a hammock under the warm glow of the sun.

As the first circumnavigator, Magellan would have seen so much from his cabin window. In fact, the whole world. Are Alices'eyes not opened by her journey? Just a thought...
