Saw this out on my walk, I knew there was a reason to wait for posting...It was unlike any of the other leaves nearby, clearly a one-off. Well, speaking of suspension ... here's a place where items are suspended for study on a fairly regular basis. In keeping with my coming across this leaf, if you have a serendipidity-related post today, let me know and I will link as an edit to this post.

shining so quiet and alone in a all broken path ...with the few moments of life that rest in its veins ...
it is beautiful and sad ...so sad .
not serendipitous, but something similiar just the same:

so.It's "Fall" nearly, but not quite yet!
what a beautiful image!...
so intriguing & unavoidable... fate?
Not today I don't no! I like yours though. That leaf is special!
that leaf has a human quality
I'm fascinated. Was this natural, or has some leaf-binder visited the area?
Serendipity tea-party at my house today in honour of my best friend's mother, who having been over for a month returns to New Zealand tomorrow. By chance, her uncle is also over from New Zealand and "doing" Hadrian's Wall at the moment. So I had a sister and brother from 12,000 miles away to tea together.
Brother is doing a "Ticky Tour", which I am assured is a New Zealand term.
Oh this leaf is fabulous!
Beauty in sunshine.
Does my latest post count as serendipity?

When I saw the fencepost and stone, I had to take a picture.
The natural lighting is breathtaking.
This picture reminds me of wistful dreams of my youth. I used to wish I had the ability to engage in [aidless] suspension.
Today... I suppose I'd be willing to settle for aided suspension instead. Better than nothing. : - )
Great leaf - I just love that suspended there to be noticed and enjoyed!
What a great photo! The "fall" leaf looks like a little Autumn creature hanging upside down for dear life.
