I just watched ‘Creature From the Black Lagoon’ with my ten-year-old son. I knew it would be corny for a kid with George Lucas sensibilities but we had a grand time. Popcorn and hard-to-procure M&Ms were where they should have been; locked tightly within our grimy paws.

i gave good laughs now .
C- Good to know - if you laughed, the cartoon is fully operational.
this reminds me of Gahan Wilson cartoons.
CG - yes, I see it.
I react to old monster movies in much the same way your protagonist is reacting to that monster.
CC- I like the mashup of candelabra with test tubes.
Reminds me of Igor (I am sujected to childrens animated movies now I have a child...)
" OoH! OOh! OOOH! My very own pet monster! "
