Ginger

Like a lot of adolescents, Ginger had trouble fitting in.

If you want to see some more finished drawings, check out the story of Salfon the Roof Cleaner. It's been published in Spain, but if anyone has any connections in U.S. children's book publishing...

This made me smile. I had a very kooky (aggressive) cat that loved no one but me...very misunderstood by everyone...name = Ginger. Ginger didn't "fit in" but one of my favorite cats for sure (maybe because of that didn't-fit-in aspect). Enjoyed the link to the beautiful rooftops book too! (BTW my calendar arrived --love it! What a marvel you are!!)

Caio- her smile looks a little nervous to me - for cause?

Celeste - Thanks, Celeste, glad you are enjoying the art - I certainly enjoy yours.

She seems to look into the future confidently, despite her pimples...

For a loner, Ginger looks kind of hot...

Oh, I had Ginger for a boy until I got to the comments. No wonder she's not fitting in.

Susan, thank you for your help. You know, when I was in California I left two books, near the Hollywood famous big letters... Who´ll own it now?

ArtSparker said...

Isabel - good point.

Tomás - I like the idea that your books were left like messages in a bottle.

Funny! Ginger's smile looks like she's having fun not fitting in. Been away for a bit, just catching up ...

I love this new series.

By the way, is that your work in the window of Artists' Television Access on Valencia? I was going to post photos of it and wanted to attribute the source/artist.
