Gotta love those hats.
I've been so out of the internet loop these last couple weeks, I haven't seen any of these. They are absolutely delightful!--as a whole collection of photographs, collages, drawings. The enormous tatooed grandmother, these wonderful hats, the sunset picture. I'm afraid I was grinning my fool head off while looking at and reading them that my kids thought I was a little strange....
so would those red dots be bugs who've flown inadvertently into the clear glass of the pleasure dome?

No really - he got quite depressed, apparently, after she died.
Blue Rose - that reminds me of the 1940's film The Thief of Baghdad.
Also Beauty and the Beast.
C- There is also an earlier silent version of Thief of Baghadad, also quite wonderful for its "Arabian" fantasia.
I think it is the hat. It has the beacon like quality of a light house. A light bulb in the making.
Favorite wife--lucky her. Is that why she gets to wear the hat?
