Robbie's room in England. He has been here in California for a few days before setting off for Alaska to work in a wilderness lodge a hundred miles from the nearest road. Ultimately he's hoping to do a circuit of the west and East Coast. And, another globe, another young man starting out in the world, Cláudia used this stick in Rio to measure the love in her son Luis' eye.

I think you need a bigger bead/marble :) lovely concepts here.
Ooh baby,baby, it's a wide world.
TFE- I didn;t know you were Welsh.
nice juxtaposition. the world inside a child's eye.
Alaska sounds real good about now...these 85 degree days with 75 percent humdity are nothing to laugh about
beautiful brown eye and "globe"!
I have to repeat Clowncar´s words - nice juxtaposition. The world is so big and yet so small. You can fear its vastness if you see it from a window but you can also have a feeling that you have conquered it if you see it proxy.
Two stunning photographs and a lot to ponder here.
I didn't know Cat Stevens was Welsh.
Titus- I was referring to TFE's melodious singing voice, because why be clear when I can be, you know, obscure?
Apologies - I didn't make the association because I've yet to hear it. And in truth, it's hard to imagine...
Only in my mind, but it was beautiful.
I like the eye´s picture with the stick. Fantastic.
