Illustration challenge # 3 links

Oh, I realized just now I didn't include the logo at bottom with what I posted here originally, so mine will look different. Don't be shy about letting me know if you post one - I will be linking this post from a button in the sidebar after today. The original material is here if you want to give it a shot.

The very splendid links:

I love the hats, especially the fruity smile on his.

LOL. They look wonderful. I love how their expressions change depending on what you do around them. In yours, they really look a little peeved at having to wear those elaborate hats. I am completely captivated by how your line work extends up the gentleman's sleeve. This is really excellent work.

Thanks for doing this challenge. I've really enjoyed checking out what others did with this photograph. So very cool!

Seriously superior hats, and I am a great fan of your overcoats. They look to me like they work for Barnum.

I really like these challenges, and what people come up with. Every time I've seen one, I've meant to have a go myself. I've finally done it!

Aw, MAN! Love you, ArtSparker! What a cool idea and wonderful array of responses. I just feasted on 'em all. I'm kinda haunted by the original photo, too. It's like the camera caught them in the middle of vanishing into time and space...ghosts-in-progress (like many of my creative fancies, come to think of it). They sort of look like they know what's happening, too. She seems to be saying, "BRING IT!" He is saying, "Ah, well."

You rock!

I MUST have one of those hats! What a wonderful interpretation:) I particularly enjoy the way that the clothing seems more "alive" than the people wearing it.

This is great the Alice in Wonderland photos are awesome, perfect surreal real life background, black and white illustrations also are surreal, which world is encroaching on which?
