Unexpected Presents

Some cards from an antique Parker Brothers card game called "Quit" which I have collaged. I placed them around the neighborhood on Christmas Day for people to find. The journey of the cards is visually documented on TinyTheatre if you would like to take a look. The next illustration challenge will be a collage challenge and will be related to these. Don't forget about the January 1 links post for This month's!

I like these; and that reminds me....I should at least start with the current challenge! I am soooo far behind!

these are wonderful. the cards remind me a bit of my daughter fun collage coasters using old maps and retro images... I need to expand my creations, these are fun.

speaking of unexpected presents, I just got an email from my friend alice who ADORES the alice calendar I ordered from your red bubble 'store'.... a perfect gift for a perfect alice.

hope you are having a lovely day, the sun is shining time to get out and enjoy it, who knows what tomorrow will bring, most likely not the sun!

Wow, what a cool idea. Brilliant as they say on the beer commercial.

Wow! Spectacular, with a touch of Tarot for me. Never heard of "Quit", I must admit.

Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year. We may be late for the challenges - it's going-away-on-holiday time (and holiday means Essex!).

Not too many walk out here, so these would be lost to the wind.

Nice idea.........and I once used to spend plenty of time on Piedmont.

I still have the wooden box that Chocolate Truffles were put in when you purchased a dozen. And there was a great music shop down the street and a card shop and my friend Diamond Jim had a jewelry store there too.

Cheers!
