Strange Instincts

You know that song about the woman who is so adorable that stars fall from the sky every time she appears? Well, this is not that woman. But creatures of the night instinctively pursue her on her moonlight strolls.

She looks like she can give as well as she gets. If I were the bats I would be wary of her.
Love this work. Awesome.

In China bats are a sign of good fortune/luck etc. One of my students recently found a dish with bats hovering around a peach tree, I am desperately trying to relocate a photo of this.

I like this one a lot. I love the little red-eyed bats; evil and adorable is a wonderfully offbeat combination!

I once walked through a swarm of thousands of bats just after sunset. It was in southern Turkey near a factory ruin. They started all at a time for their evening hunt when I walked by. Of course, they safely passed me by. I was in the middle of them! Very interesting and beautiful, I wasn't scared, I love them.

Have you sent this to Tim Burton, the director? Looks right up his alley: whimsical, sly, otherworldly, a bit noir. Terrific!

HahahaHA! Oh, that's great. Perhaps it's the bugs she places in her hair. Fantastic image!

And OHhhhh, heavens. Your photos below almost made me choke on my coffee. Hysterical!
