My sister and her husband had a cat and a small dog who were fond of each other, I believe they used to groom each other. My brother-in-law claimed they engaged in acrobatic sexual practices while he was trying to eat and put him off his dinner, but I think he was just having a bit of fun.Edit: Just fixed a wicked Freudian slip this morning. It's gone now!

My pets do that, but it's very one-sided. The dog loves the cat, in more ways than one (his other favorite fetish is carpets). The cat reciprocates by sometimes using the dog as a bell-pull, when he's hungry he swats at the dog to make him yelp for food.
LOL! This drawing! Priceless.
The offspring would be interesting. You'd either have a kitten that comes when it's called, or an aloof puppy.
I guess "interesting" wasn't the word I was looking for. "Disturbing" is a better fit.
... or wishing he was!
Oh but true love is blind. What a nice illustration to an interesting and amusing post!
What would the offspring be called? A Cog or a Dat?
Thanks for the prints by the way. They arrived yesterday and look great.
Very cute - especially the dog.
We have two dogs and a cat and she only weighs 6lbs but rules the roost. Neither dog is cleaning her fur but when it comes time to swipe at them, she's there.
love this piece--it reminds me of the promise of America--we're a country of many faces, and it's pretty cool that we mix it up--even like the dogs and cats do...
funny funny and i love your spotty dog and stripey cat.
Great expressions on their faces!
I love this image.
Well, don't they say opposites attract. This is really fun~
Rats, I missed the Freudian slip and am now trying to figure out what it might have been!
I'm trying to figure it out also! Was it the word "fun" only not fun? Found you through urbandon. Jeanne in Oregon
I have seen a cat who gets it bum licked by dog all the time. gross.
Great drawing.
Don - My world has expanded with the addition of that image.
I love this drawing! You are one talented chica.
This drawing is absolutly wonderful!!!
Hey, ArtSparker I love these... too fun..
When I was a small child I thought Cats were Girls and Dogs were Boys... i guess 'cause cats seemed so graceful and dogs seemed so rowdy... I remember when I found out the difference I could hardly be convinced of it...
funny how we form our ideas...
that is one reason why I am suspect of anyones testimony at trials it is wherever they formed their ideas from that they draw their answers from...
just a ramble....
