Here is Queen Elizabeth's astrologer scrying in a crystal ball. this drawing was done with the help of visual reference provided by the very kind Coffee Messiah, who has featured Alice in a video featuring a visit to Kerr Lock in Indiana. Alice also recently visited the wonderful American Visionary Art Museum, courtesy of Mouse Medicine. In the slide show for the AVAM, I spotted several of Paul Spooner's pieces which I saw at the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre in London, mentioned in Sunday's post.

I like that the drawing, he looks like Al Jazzbeaux Collins (i will be posting something by him soon. He's now deceased ; (
Thanks for the Alice! I have some other ideas, but really need to find the focal distance that is right to see her correctly.
Looks like a new Harry Potter character. Or something of that sort. Your drawings are so enjoyable. Well, I'm off to look up Al Jazzbeaux Collins. Sounds like a character if he lives up to his name. I also want to find out if he's real or Coffee Messiah's caffeine induced dream. - Jeanne
Nice drawing! Wonder if his predictions are like him too - elastic?
ArtSparker, quite nice drawing of the Queen's astrologer, tho' she may have beena bit wary if he looked like that, wot? And kudos on the vid link!
@C.M., I'd not seen this one( 'til now ). Recent, I suspect? Great background sounds to go along with Alice's little adventure!
great character! i could image his slowly, sinuous movements! btw thanks for suggestion of 'modify' :)
i like the way the furniture was done .
That's a great illustration! Love the details.
Oh, that's reminded me of so much. I feel quite inspired and I have days to myself coming up to write. Many thanks.
..and he has such petite feet! I imagine he doesn't move around much.
alice doesn't half get around!
Awesome interpretation and great lines. I so wanted to do the IF prompt this week since you suggested it, but my deadlines (and kids out of school) haven't allowed for much IF play time lately. Have a wonderful weekend.
Alice is surely traveling to fun places these days.
Love your drawing!
