Reader's Request

Add a few lines to this sentence in the comments section, if you are so inclined, and I'll come up with something illustrative next Sunday in response to one or more suggestions:

Although I had hurried past its window many times, it was the first time I had ventured into the little shop, a last resort in my search - it seemed as if it might be a haven for the hidden, lost and necessary.

a shot of the window of Aria, in North Beach, again.

There in the far corner of the shop, was what I had been looking for and it brought me instantly back to my childhood in India.

And I wasn't wrong, for unbelievably, there he was, half alive, half awake, in the shadows of the corner of the backroom. Sitting like a broken king in a battered armchair shrouded in mystical whirls of smoke, pint of Martini in hand,2 thousand yard stare and mumbling soft'And I recall the moment, more distant than it seems, when five green queens on a black bin bag meant all the world to me'

... and there it was, on a dummy: a creamcoloured catsuit with eyes in the sleeves, for sideways glances (an ability mankind seems to have lost on it´s way)... Had I owned that suit earlier, I wouldn´t have hurried past the shop so many times...

, for if I wasn't mistaken, that was my sister's body in the display case, and her head just might be packed up back in the store room.

Well I am hoping it may be words form my all time favourite movie, starring Jimmy Stewart and the gorgeous Kim Novak.

And Pyewacket, of course, who was named after a true witches familiar - Bell Book and Candle??

These posts are like cryptic crosswords with images. ahhhh,
nice to be back!

... And, of course, it was pretty hard to pass by a display window that had Seven of Nine's bowling ball and her Team Voyager bowling outfit...

[For Trek fans only, perhaps!]

I'm excited about the suggestions so far.

Grrl - At the risk of repeating, I had been thinking how much I missed you.

Rick - I am shocked, shocked, to learn that you are a nerd.

And I found that beyond the items on display, all there was was a very large, unlocked door with a snake-head doorknob. I turned the knob and pushed the door ajar ...
