Lost Boys#4/The Cave

David passes Michael a curiously decorated bottle of wine - or is wine? Star, in the background, warns Michael not to drink it, but by this time Michael seems to be imitating David's every sneer and is not inclined to listen.

David remarks that the vampire's home is an old Luxury Hotel which collapsed into the earth "When the big one hit in '06". The photograph was shot at San Francisco's Sutro Baths, which survived that earthquake but later burned down in the 1960's.

Susan, this is great! Especially with the shading on Star...lurking? in the back-ground...

Too, I've had Alice out for a spin( nothing major as she's still adjusting to the horrid humidity ). And thanks to time lost via a spammer, won't have anything posted 'til Friday coming up( tho' it is in draft, currently ). Will let you know and thanks again!

I love this series. Yesterday I took out your Alice with me again. Its a lot more difficult to position these figures than I thought. It was a windy day and I came home empty handed.

Jasmine- my peasant mind takes over in the wind, and I am convinced that it is completely still until I actually move back to take the shot, when the breezes, with malice aforethought, start violently shaking the figure. This is somewhat contradictory for someone who is 99% sure there is no supreme being.

An element of doubt is good enough,AS,amigo.Great likeness of Keifer(Sp?) Sutherland.I don't know how to spell his name but I know what he looks (looked) like! And what is in that beautiful bottle? I haven't seen the film.Love that location and it's history,I wish I could see America one day.But for now I'm happy because there is a one in four(last time I looked) chance of there being an ArtSparker version of the mighty Shane being created by Sunday.YEEEEhAAAA!!!

TFE-Show me the money, dude.

TFE- How about a pint next time I'm in Dublin? Guinness, of course.

TFE- we are taking it under advisement.

Keifer magnificent! And I still haven't seen the film. Location also very interesting.
Shane one of the favourite films of the other adult in this house.

Titus - TFE is referring to Shane MacGowan, for whom he has been lobbying heavily for a couple of weeks.

I was wondering at first if maybe these were taken over at the old forts on the other side of the Golden Gate...

In view of your update, please allow me to retract my earlier comment.
If I have to hear "Fairytale of New York" one more Yuletide I will throw myself off of the Christmas tree. Onto the shed needles.

I suppose the YEEEEHAH! was a bit misleading there,Titus, sorry. But would Christmas still be Christmas without the drunk tank song? :)It's cliff Richard's ' mistletoe and whine' has me heading for Hara Kiri via a bottle of cherry brandy!
