This was supposed to go to the (highly recommended for Those Who Like That Sort of Thing) Bad Spock blog, but then it turned into something else. If Spock is more recognizable than Kirk, I will just say that when he was young, William Shatner looked like one of those old composite photos of 20 Movie stars. Facial features...tiny. Well, that's my excuse.

"Mint melts"--you are too clever!
And I am puffed up with pride like a puffy puffer fish to have such a thing dedicated to me.
Thank you most kindly.
LL&P back attcha.
I love a good Star Trek riff. hurray! I'm a big trekker.
Love the dilithium crystal sprinkles for roughage! They'll make you go warp 2 at a minimum.
I dunno, looks enought like JTK to me. The nose might be a little sharp, but then he doesn't really seem enticed by those "treats."
Every illustration of Kirk and Spock always seems like the precursor to slash fanfic. Or maybe that's just me...
;-)
Bungy - I think you are right about the nose, and it is discreetly slash-tinged.
Love it! I could tell it was inspired by Fresca - I'm learning lots of Star Trek things from her blog! Mainly how sexy Shatner is - I never realised!
For some of us, the sexiness of Kirk is something that needs to be taught...unlike that of Spock - That level gaze! Those ears!
can i say 'that's illogical'?
just sayin'
I always liked spok best. When I think of the old startreks now, the spoof song pops into my head.."Star trecking across the universe, only going forward as we cannot reverse!"
We've got the first five episodes on DVD for the boys' edification, and that's not a bad Shatner at all. I think maybe I'm a Chekov girl, however. That head of hair, that accent!
Titus - re Chekhov, you know that in the first season it was a wig. right? But I think later it was all his.
He does look like this as a young man in the movie!
In most cases, I don't know what your drawings are about, but I like them.
Thanks for your kind comment.
How I LOVE this! Jim's looking justifiably unsure about the offer ROFL
You're so right about Bill, he could have been in a western or romance or any 50/60s genre and fit in beautifully with that face. But my heart always belonged to Spock.
Okay, so now I'm off to come up with a recipe -- because you know now I've got to have some 'Minty Green Goodness' along on our SummerTrek LOL
Thanks!
excellent, this is great.
he looks quite like Shatner in the new film
Dilithium crystal coated Vulcan mints will surely kick Altoids and Mentos out of business!
Kirk looks afraid to try those, they might look like little radioactive hearts to him (or that's just my imagination). very funny work!
