And this is how the little prince turned out - here resting a branch nailed to my father's balcony before he flies away to England. The beginning is here. And there is another photo showing more detail on flickr.

Nice! Can almost feel the breeze on the balcony
and what a fine prince he is.
at first glace, on the google reader, I thought it was some sort of misbegotten beehive.
actually that happens to me frequently on your site - you create a nice space between seeing a work and your explanation, where my mind comes up with its own, more personal, explanation.
Clowncar- and now I have a vision of the brain as beehive, I think that might be my letter B.
that drawing you have on flicker of thirteen conversations about one thing is grand. such a good movie.

Beautiful - I so love stripes!
Your father has an amazing view. I love the slow cloth, I looked on flicker too. I need to do a little more on my slow cloth xJ
Jasmine - glad you like the photo.
What a wonderful piece of fiber art and collage! I wish we would see such things from you more often -- but I guess you are the kind of artist who loves quick media for quick ideas, right?
Eva- no, I like working slow, it's just that there is so much inside wanting to get out...
I am going nuts here. With the music "Flying to the moon" in my mind, I look at the picture and see the long cloth as a rocket ready to start a long journey to the Little Prince's little planet. A journey back home. The Prince is in black and white - is he a ghost now?
I guess I am already getting into a dreamy state. Time to go to bed now!
What a splendid artwork - and that lovely tree is the perfect place to snap its portrait.
