Before the Storm

This is an illustration from a few years back for an article about how animals often sense a storm on its way for a magazine in Florida. We're in for some rain here in the coming week.

Wonderful expression on the turtle's face.

They sense and they fear it. The illustration shows how alert animals stay before the storm. Brilliant!

this is fabulous--and I can attest to it--I had a llhasa apso who would run all over the house right before a storm. She always knew it before the sky did.

This is amazing. I love the light reflectting water. I can never manage to capture that. I think I can be too heavy with the paint.

A great shot. They sense more than us Earth Mortals do, believe me.
Love these colours --
