This is part of a series of illustrations for the library card project on the femminismo blog. Jeanne sent out parts of a story contained in a library card envelope and asked for illustrations on the little envelopes. If you scroll down on her blog, you can see other contributions. In other news of small-scale art, I saw these wonderful things a couple of days ago on the designers room blog.

this sounds like fun.. off to play
This library project is a great idea and I like your illustration very much...am a sucker for thread combined with drawing...off to check out the designer link...
In answer to your question about posting the entire story, I was thinking of making a small digital book, complete with illustrations, and exporting it to a pdf document so as to share it more easily. I would then e-mail it to those who participated or anyone who wanted it. Price would be a comment on all the artists' blogs! That sounds good, huh? - Jeanne
....sweet...a favorite subject... knowledge begins with a library card...
