I just watched a video of great landmarks all around the world going dark for awhile to honor the earth.
I've got my candles all lined up, ready for an hour of sweet darkness. Thanks for posting here.
Nice illustration, too!
Did the washing up with my head torch on. Must admit I lost track of the time and didn't switch off till 8:40... so I sat in the dark for the rest of the evening to compensate! Love the hat take on things!
RE. Gorey hommage - ta for the book tip, love Gorey's work! You'd recommend "Ascending Peculiarity" then as an insight into his work... ...
PS. love the elephant "poise" tale... no pun intended but there are 'elephants in the air' at the moment... I seem to see them everywhere I go!
We observed it where I live. I was a success. :)
The world needs more such activities.
its good to see things like this expressed on a Global Basis.
a nice take on this :o)
What is hidden under this hat? A bird eating his supper worm in the dark?
this is me when i want to get away from the world-----and rest! of course, instead of a worm, there's probably a bottle of chilled Toasted Head Chard with me, if not a Beringer cab.
I like the quick drawing and the letters. Simple and effective illustration!
earlier intentions to participate earth hour went out the window when I committed to attending two films saturday night at cleveland's film festival.
kudos to you and everyone else who participated!!
love the illustration
