Two oxen

The above ox comes to you (through me)  from Michael O'Connell, a designer/illustrator in Florida. I'm sending Michael the ox below .

Jake, he was a dancing ox
The only one in all the flocks:
His hooves determined to rejoice,
He danced because he had no choice.

I love your ox! The hint of a grin, the slight lifting of the leg; you made it look like a happy, dancing ox without diminishing its, um, "Oxiness."

I think you captured the ethereal space of the ox’s eyes, and the hint of purple really makes it pop. Whenever I see picture of an ox they always have a dumbfounded look, due to the spacing of their eyes.
