Alice could move if she wanted to. My sympathy is with the elephant.
me too. CUTE!
Um, okay...points well-taken.
To modify a (oriental, I think) proverb: The choice is always ours - if destiny throws an elephant at you, there are two ways you can catch it - by the trunk or by the tail...
Your almost daily postings of art are always a treat. My question is, do you create something new each day or is some of this past work? I think I am continually amazed by your output and variety.
i'm not sure what mary wrote 'me too' to, but i gotta go with ThomasLB on this post...and then
i think really, Alice, is the one in trouble...if we're talking what elephants represent politically...
you always keep us on and insightful...
Such fun! So whimsical. I thoroughly enjoy circus and side show imagery!
Marvelous.
Of course, I feel for the elephant, too. She'll hardly break his fall, now will she?
Pretty much sums up my day....
Hahahaha!!! Oh, that's precious! They are BOTH so nonchalant about it, like it's been done a thousand times before. Yeah, her pointy hat.....
Very good! ; )
California Girl - These are mostly new posts. The mouse and lion drawing i did a while back, but the additions were a result of comments on the post.

I love this...great "Poise!"

I always like to see your sparks of art. :)
Thanks for linking.
I enjoy the whole composition, and especially like the pattern of the big top in the background. Always very cool art.
i think this is very funny! maybe i'm too much of an optimist but i'm still hoping that the elephant will land on his feet and Alice will step aside in the last moment :)
Think I've unintentionally illustrated the preceding sequence from this tragic tale for my IF this week... You work has been an inspiration :)
Completely charming. Where i live it rains grand pianos and hails Caesar Salads.
Regards,
Neil
hope the elephant knows cat's-mid-air-recovery-technique to land on all fours :)
