Obama changing a tire

Here's another editorial post, Detroit in trouble is referenced, but there could be a reference to greening the automobile industry there. My illustration site sanfordillo.com
is now refurbished, though much of the work on it has appeared here previously.

I LOVE this illustration. Awesome.

What a metaphor. The U.S. has a major flat tire, and here's this really good guy, getting down in his nice suit, to fix it.

Great!!

Thanks for the kind comment on my illustration Friday "pretend" entry. I'm happy to find your site as a result - everything on it is GREAT!

HIs face is already an icon. I saw it plastered as a stencil on a street pole yesterday. His image stands for so much already..

Hmm... is it possible that there's nothing wrong with the tire, he's just taking the wheels off to install new brakes? In a metaphorical kind of way, that is. ;-)
