Just saw this. I noticed a bunch of Oriental characters on my comments for a while. I trashed them. I notice them on other blogs as well but no idea where they come from.
Thanks, Caio - I will probably just moderate for a week before testing the waters.
Oh dear, i think I'm going to have to do the same. My computer was out of action for most of last week due to a virus from click jacking. Cant risk that happening again.
I too had the same problem. I just deleted them. Haven't see any in a while, after that( knock wood )...
Sub - The scary thing was the getting twenty at once. Months ago, I got them from the same spammer but one by one. Have reported it to google.

Kate - can one be off subject on one's blog? I just had to deal with my landlord, and compared to some things, comment moderation is a pleasure.
damn spam.....I had a spell where I was hit with huge long comments filled with chinese characters and hotlinks....unless it's someone I know I delete any comment with embedded links, call me paranoid i embrace the label completely....
I recently eliminated word verification and I may jinx it but so far so good....maybe it comes in waves....

ArtSparker, never that many here! Wow. I read some of the comments on the help bloggo about blocking but they can still get round it, if they're determined. Maybe my copyright warnings scared 'em...or not.
