Here you see Alice in Graulhet, France. It was a few days before the weather cooled sufficiently for Alice to take a stroll in the fields. Alice's hostess talks about the writer's life (with stunning photgraphic accompaniment) in Graulhet on the blog A writer's notebook .
And here is Alice again, in Cleveland Ohio, looking around at city life, given a tour by mouse at mousemedicine. There is a set of eight on Flickr. Mouse is one of the most generous bloggers around, constantly striving to understand and show more of the world.
I am feeling much better today.

Alice Is A Well travelled Lass!
I might be going away next weekend, So My Alice will be going with me!
A lovely set of pictures. I like the one net to the rabbit hole best for nostalgic reasons, the others are awesome too.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I'm off to check out the linked bogs :)
cool - thaks for the links. you know the most interesting people
I wish I had taken Alice with me to the Alentejo, she would have been a hit! Any chance of getting her to come to Portugal now for the summer? Can I give you my address? Did you get my address in Spain, sent before I left?
I love Alice sees the world, what a great idea. The photos you posted are all so evocative. I will check out the links.
Celeste - I did not receive an email with your address, although I remember you saying you were going to email me.. I will be sending out more at the end of August, email me if you would like one then. I have now posted my email to the right (Contact Me).
I love that you send your art around the world! So much fun and interesting. I look forward to something someday again in Montana with me!
So nice to see Alice over here, Susan. I added another take on the writer's notebook blog.
Glad to read you're feeling better.
Best from Graulhet.
Yours is such a wonderful notion, to have these Alice's spanning the ocean.... a beautiful visual and narrative extension of Carroll and Tenniel. Delighted and jealous to see your great take on jabberwocky... that's my next to do (well ok has been on my to do for a while...), as always your work is inspirational!
Love the red hood!!!

I have noted your address - removed the comment because I wasn't sure if you wanted people to see your street address.
RL's rabbit hole is perfect. I like her mirror image as well.
mouse's image with the pig (bank? sculpture? statue?) fits. I like it too.

LOL, why would I love to blow up these photos and make them the main pieces on my living room wall! Alice in the big world. I can imagine everyone who comes over to visit me would take a lot of time to ponder why it's up there, lol.
aw gee.... thanks for such incredibly kind words!
this is such a fun project! I can see this morphing into a wonderful book (that may be indeed in your plans?) one day....once alice has tired of traveling for a bit, that is.
