Protection from the elements

The ultimate red riding hood - meant to frighten off wolves so the basket gets safely to Grandma's. Also, isn't it funny how little kids fight putting on a coat to go outside, as if they were being asked to perform some terrible personal sacrifice?
I have a horrible flu, don't know if it's THAT flu, this is one of three drawings  I did in bed on on a scraps of paper left over from paper people. Vertigo resumes on Monday, Tomorrow I will post news of the travelling Alices.

Oh man, hope you get better soon! You're certainly putting your down time to good use though. Love this!

let's hope it is NOT that flu....i feel like stitching up a hood like that.

yes, if I were a wolf, I'd definitely reconsider. When you feel better (soon, I hope) you might want to add the same hood to the basket. Granny's sure to get all the good stuff, then.

Seriously, take good care of yourself, Susan. Sending you good thoughts and healthy vibes.

Now, that is a cool costume, it will keep the big bad W at bay and might just end up scaring grandma too.

Take care and get well soon!

Thanks for the good wishes, folks. I have to admit I was angling for the strokes, but it's nice to have them anyway.

Brilliant! I would like to make one of those...

Its winter here at the moment and yes, I have to totally fight/bribe my 4 year old to get her to put on her (funky pink princess) coat. What is up with that?

Hope you feel better soon.

Even if it is THAT flu, it is no worse than any other flu and more harmless than the Spanish flu anyway. Get well soon! And don't worry. This virus is not out for Caucasians.

Oh, and the mask is gorgeous. Someone should produce this item.

could you send to me a litle bit of this flu ?

this is not THAT flu , you will see , i am going to pray for you ( i know you dont like people praying ) , and you will get better .

i hope you feel better soon. you need to draw yourself a cloak on invincibility.

Tell each one of your white blood cells to put on a red hood just like this great one you´ve drawn. No virus will resist a white cell army under such terrifying caps. Hope you get better. And it WON´T be THAT flu!
With love,
Patricia.

TF - yes, I know of Slinkachu and like his work very much. My work is pretty much descended from the Cottingley Fairies, although there could be some Slinkachu influence in there.
