I love this one! And the song, too.
What a sad song. Here's wishing you happier thoughts to drift by in your sleep.
What intriguing image and song! I am so glad I "discovered" your blog. I already put it in my favorites. I live in Madrid and I am also a painter. Would love if you have a look at my work in the blog I started 3 weeks ago:
www.maiasintothemoonlight.blogspot.com
I will be visiting here often.
Ah, nothing like a little cat nap in the long grass as the lazy days of summer are almost upon us!
Both images are peaceful.
Er, am still getting your snail mail ready to post.
Sluggish, dontcha know ; (
Eva - Oh, I can see yet another series coming on.
mum - I suppose I just take the song as a suggestion that overthinking things doesn't always increase perception.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I will be painting and sketching in Portugal. Everywhere I go my brushes and pencils and paper come with me, I never know what will happen. A delay at the airport and all those faces to draw! Having a coffee along the beach and all those bodies in the most awkward positions...
Sorry Susan.I've been AWOL! Just Got back .'will read-on-down! Hope Your Fine&Dandy?
wow! thanks for the nice comment on my newest sketch ... so glad i've connected with you because we have so many similar interests, and your blog is just what i needed to see. i'm freshly inspired. nice to meet you.
I like the shadows the grass casts upon your character.
oh--i love these little people stuck amongst the big world...i am a little frightened for them.
Thanks for visiting my site and leaving a comment...I appreciate it!
This blog is unbelievably creative and unique, I love what I see, and I'm going to enjoy taking my time looking at your previous posts (and of course, staying tuned for all the new stuff).
Great work!
very original idea you have going here, I like it!
Unique style! Great work!
i love the grass shadows across her
Long time ago, the only english I listen was in the songs. When I ear the word "drifting" I quickly think in a verse of a Genesis song, "Follow You Follow Me": All your fears are drifting by me so slowly now...
This makes me wish it were warm out (instead of raining & cold!) and I could go drift off to sleep in the summer grass. Love it.
I am liking the image.. sort of picasso-ish
hermoso!
