Recombinant

This is the image from a few days ago reworked for a T design, now on redbubble. I wonder if people will be less taken with this version - I just can't bring myself to put a photographic image on a t-shirt. Anyway, if you click on it you can make it bigger, for a better comparison. Hope the weekend was good to you.

It's lovely, just lovely.

I think it's great, it feels more mischievous than the original. Maybe the black and white lends itself better to the imagery of the letters/words leaping off the page in hot pursuit, almost as if they were following the Pied Piper of Hamlin! The shadow is a particularly nice touch.

Just had a look at redbubble, those designs are amazing. I know where I'm buying birthday and Christmas presents from now :)

I particularly like Alice's revenge and the fox and the crow (it kind of reminds me f Hilary Jeremy Boob, from 'The Yellow Submarine', I'm not quite sure why, maybe its the shape.

Do your t-shirts com in children's sizes?

So clever! Captured a good read perfectly! I'm off to visit your redbubble now ;)

I like them both and agree this one works better for a t. But the first is a fabulous illo and powerful because of the association with Dostoyevsky's Notes from Underground. So two worlds, really.
redbubble is a great find. I'm also discovering your illustrations and loving your work.

A lovely start to the week, merci.

Whereas I like both versions, this one is absolutely fantastic.
This would be a great poster for National Reading Week.
A classic.

Here it is. This is really marvelous. If it's going to be made into a T-shirt, I definitely want one.

If you allow me, Susan, I like this but my favorite is the first: the image of the figure outing from the letters is tougher.
