LOST: The Hatch

Locke finds the first Hatch...You'd be scared too, if you suspected paper went inside and was taken away by Others to strange destinations...more hatches to come.

I have something special planned for the Michael and Walt characters, but it is overcast here, and the effect is much better when I can have the paper backlit. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Freudian stuff aside (not that you mentioned it!), I think of "escape hatch" scenarios all the time. I mean, when I'm killing time having a smoke or something, I ponder such esoteric topics as giant snake attacks, invasions by N. Korea, zombies, vampires, etc. I have plans...

I've just seen these Lost characters for the first time now - they're fantastic! How do you get so much character out of a piece of paper? I've heard of wooden actors, but paper ones seem far more talented.

Rick -I know the Boy Scouts motto is "be prepared".

Adam - Heh, there is one actor on the show notable for the quality you mentioned - the first ensemble member to go.

Tony - D'Oh! Uncosncious forces at work, since I've been watching Season 3...though I'll tell you, some of the time, it's mostly for the theremin at the beginning and end. Except for that Blink episode...

ah, so this is where the postal thread began this morning. Just realized yours was one of the first blogs I clicked on when I got up. Here's hoping Locke gets over his hatch trauma. It's been known to affect some of us writers after serial rejections.
Word verification: dicut - these are nice
