lovely. reminds me of a nietzsche quote/concept, "laughing lions must come." in thus spoke zarathustra it is supposed to mean a brave, strong, happy human race must develop someday.
Just showed this to my little one, who is home from school sick. She thought the girl lion (lioness?) was falling, and the boy lion was watching and not helping.
I feel a festive, joyful and full of strength spirit in these characters, which must be the clue for mainainig the balance of the dance on the branch: delight, confidence, no fear at all. Whish I had such dressing gowns for the times I feel like them!

Gorgeous. The tree lion is rarely spotted out in the open - and two of them yet! Bravi to you (and to Nietzsche's laughing lions).
Nice.

Clowncar - No, no -He's just amused by her dance.
Love the seductive glance on her! She seems nude-headed -- or is this just the velvet-like short fur?
Eva - short fur.
I like your blog a lot. Came here through Ribbon.
Ah, superb! The texture of the tree, the light, the courtly lions. He puts me in mind of a Boyar before Peter made them chop their beards off.
The male lion looks like the cat who caught the canary. There is something especially joyous about this picture.
terrific tilt in the dancing figure.

Where do they buy their clothes? (as clothes make people, one could perhaps become as elegant + confident wearing such outfits...)
They have such personality! Love 'em!
