The Return of the Fox

This fox appeared in my first week of posting over a year ago.

Musical links:
Reynardine (I think one of the final images in this video is superimposed human baggage).
The Cunning little Vixen (she never gets captured, in case you're worried).

Robbie took the photo.

oh I must discover Janacek's opera. Thanks for the intro. Reynardine is lovely too.

And what is that clever fox up to, this time, hm? Is that your ear he's whispering into, Susan? I suggest you listen carefully and take good note of every single word. They're not reputed clever for nothing, you know.

best to you.

Mum - he is either whispering in my ear or contemplating the theft of my earring.

Oh, that's a bright face and a glorious waistcoat, but it's making me think of Pinocchio.
mum's right. Don't listen! His words will be silk, and just as slippery.

I love the angle of the tree in the background. You have nothing to fear from the lovely fox (unless you are made of gingerbread?

your fox is such a charmer

thanks for the link to reynardine, one of my favorite old tunes .... I love it when our local folk program features a song song by martin - there's something about his voice that always transports me to another time - both my own and a time way before

martin's daughter eliza is quite talented too - I have her first album...hm, should see what she's up too these days

The fox is vitality and the will to alter circumstances, simply a creative force, neither good nor bad.

Do I contradict myself?

This seductive whispering... I swear I can hear it (but not understand the words).

Hmmm...that sly fox seems to be appraising your ear jewelry. Is he telling you about its current market value?

I'm impatient to see the film of Fantastic Mr Fox which I loved as a child. I'm sure I'll be disappointed though, despite Wes Andersen being involved...

Is the fox trying to whisper a secret or sneaking up to take a bite of your ear? :)
