Robbie and the Little Man

Robbie has a tattoo on his leg of a man sitting on the porch of a little shack reading a book, made from a drawing a friend did . Here you see my expansion of the little man as a hiker crossing my nephew's path.

Robbie very thoughtfully found a blog yesterday mentioning "Wee Smelly Susan". If anyone can think up any lovely nicknames for Robbie and leave them in the comments, I will pass them on to him.

i like those drawings going from paper to skin and finally free to walk their own path.

That is one unique tat! Brings to mind Mark Twain for me. Based on that I will suggest Snodgrass as a nickname. And if that doesn't make me weird, for some reason I thought of the game Cliff Hangers from the Price is Right when I saw your hiker. I can hear that yodeling music now! LOL!

The Little Man is cautiously striding by Robbie. Obviously the Lilliput is scared of the giant Gulliver of the Tattoo.

I can’t help you with a nickname for the moment, but it was a damn quite wanderer!

lol. how extraordinary. tattoos are most certainly outward reflections of a human being... or at least their cognitions. I would never think to tattoo a house, or any other building for that matter, onto my person. Something so unique is worthy of having enough magic to jump from skin to paper, as you've so wonderfully illustrated. Thank you for providing the magic. And thank you Robbie the Carrier: You carry imagination, boldness to stretch from the norm, and best of all, a little man who doesn't even have to walk to travel, thanks to your willing leg. : - )

Great picture. The feather in the hat feels very Austrian. Almost like Captain Von Trap yodeling across the mountains in the Sound of Music. But I wouldn't dare suggest any names, not after Robbie made that wonderful bag! Wee smelly Susan isn't such a bad name is it? Very Scottish, and that would make Robbie A RaB!

I remember growing up we would sometimes stop at the "Rotten Robbie" gas station. I forget where in San Jose it was, though. Are there still any about? You may want to casually cruise past one at some point...

Thanks Megan - I may have to settle for a photo. but that would work.

This one makes me laugh!

How about Robbie the Rotter? Or Robweiler?

pectin is the word verification (have you been making jam?)
